Cybersecurity Engineer with Security Clearance

Job Number: R0038560 Cybersecurity Engineer Key Role: Assist with the coordination of threat and vulnerability assessments through testing and evaluation activities, including network penetration testing, Web application security testing, and social engineering exercises. Capture security controls used during the requirements phase to integrate security within the process, identify key security objectives, and maximize software security while minimizing disruption to plans and schedules. Support assessments and evaluations of security vulnerabilities, analyze the development of mitigation strategies, and ensure the development of system life cycle documentation by reviewing and endorsing documentation and providing recommendations to government assessors. Ensure system vulnerabilities are tracked, categorized, and mitigated against risks and support the documentation of system vulnerabilities into automated systems and tools. Support the government in advising on system security, planning, progress, and risks and ensure Cybersecurity is incorporated into all aspects of system development and implementation. Basic Qualifications: -3 years of experience with analyzing and maintaining RMF packages, Cybersecurity strategies, and supporting documentation -Knowledge of anti-tamper documentation -Active Secret clearance -BA or BS degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or IT -IAM Level II Certification Additional Qualifications: -Experience with Air Force or DoD aquisition process -Ability to communicate with program engineers -Knowledge of Air Force Cybersecurity requirements and processes, including platform IT Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
